Sarina Sharp was raised on a dairy farm in West Michigan. She graduated with honors from Covenant College, with a degree in Finance and an English minor. She worked for two years as a grain market analyst at the Nesvick Trading Group in Memphis, Tennessee. For the past 10 years, she has been studying the commodity markets and managing financial risk for dairies in the Great Lakes region. She also writes regularly about the dairy markets for the Daily Dairy Report and the Milk Producers Council of California. She lives outside Grand Rapids with her husband and three children.
