Dairy Technical Support Specialist, Alltech
Dr. Luke Miller received his Bachelor of Science degree in animal science and doctorate in veterinary medicine from Michigan State University. Upon graduation, Luke spent 8 years as a large animal veterinarian, where he eventually became practice owner. He practiced all facets of large animal medicine, but also aided dairymen in design and implementation of protocols and SOP’s. Luke then took a full-time position as the General Manager for a large 6,000 head, multi-site dairy in central California. Through his 8 years with the dairy, Luke managed dairy operations, a team of 45 employees, designed and constructed a state of the art 80-stall rotary milker barn, and worked with local and national government agencies in regards to grants and permitting. In joining the Alltech team, Luke brings valuable experience and expertise from every level of a dairy operation. Luke and his family currently reside in central California.
