Brent Petersen grew up on a Dairy Farm near Denmark, Wi. He attended UW-River Falls and graduated with an Agronomy Degree. He has worked in the private sector for 8 years and currently is working for Brown County Land and Water Conservation since 1999. One of Brent’s passions is taking conventional farming practices and converting to Cover Crop practices without a reduction of crop production or ROI. Brent is the Program Manager for the 1st Demonstration Farms Project in the State of Wisconsin (Lower Fox Demonstration Farms). This project’s goal is to promote soil health practices to help reduce soil and nutrient runoff.
