Kathryn Proudfoot is an assistant professor within the animal welfare division at The Ohio State University. Proudfoot received her Ph.D. and Masters from the University of British Columbia, where she studied Animal Science and Applied Animal Biology. At The Ohio State University, Proudfoot teaches both Introduction to Animal Behavior, and Contemporary Issues in Animal Welfare. In addition to teaching, Proudfoot also spends her time coaching The Ohio State University’s veterinary student team to compete in a national veterinary science contest.
